Today is Dad’s birthday, but he is a lot bigger on his birthday than I was on mine. I think he had fun today, he was especially happy. He also says that I’ve had quite an adventurous first week of life.
So a couple days ago Grandma Pam came to visit. I remember her from a long time ago. Mom says we went to visit Grandma while I was still inside of her twice even. I think Grandma likes me a whole lot, I got lots of hugs and kisses from her, maybe even more than Mom and Dad give me.
We went to this place that Mom says was one of her favorite places to eat called The Olive Garden. But I saw what everyone was eating and it looked nothing like what Mom feeds me so I’m thinking Mom and Dad are the ones missing out on the good stuff.
Then we went to this place with lots of trees and icky water. And there was no ceiling! The light was reeeaaaallllly bright, and the fan was turned way way up. Dad called it a swamp and warned Grandma Pam to watch out for alligators.
We got in the car and it was the longest car ride ever! I thought we would never stop to eat! Mom said something about stopping to go to the bathroom. What did she need to stop to go to the bathroom for? When we finally did stop, we went into this little glass house that smelled almost as good as Mom’s milk. Grandma Pam bought lots of bread. They seemed to like it. It seemed a little dry to me, so I didn’t try any.
We also went round and round and round on a little bench. Now I know all about benches. Those are what we sit on when Mom gets tired or I get hungry. But these moved. But they just went in a circle, and when we got off, we hadn’t gone anywhere. I didn’t quite understand the point.
All in all we had a pretty fun visit with Grandma Pam.
