My Trip to Washington

I just got back to Hawaii today. Mom and me went to Washington for a visit. First we went on the Big Metal Bird again. I was good this time too, but I had to sit in Mom’s lap the whole time and taking a nap was hard.
So I got to see Grandma Pam again and I got to meet a lot of people. I met Grandpa Russ, Uncle Josh, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Heather, Cousin Ethan, Grandma Pat (not to be confused with Grandmama Patricia), and some of Mom’s friends.
Uncle Josh was a lot of fun. He played with me and took care of me while Mom and Grandma Pam went out to eat at a special restaurant. Mom says he wants to be a kid doctor when he grows up like Debbie, the lady we see every couple of months. I said that was ok as long as he didn’t give me any shots.
Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Heather and Cousin Ethan were fun too, but they were way louder than Mom and Dad. At first I was a little scared something was wrong, then I realized they were just playing. They were really nice and let me use some of Ethan’s toys while I was there since Mom couldn’t bring all of mine. When I met Ethan he gave me a hug. I was so excited to meet someone my own size that I started jumping around and I accidentally hit Ethan and then he hit me back. I cried cuz it hurt and everyone else laughed, but I didn’t think it was funny at all. After that, I didn’t get anymore hugs from Ethan.
Grandpa Russ was really fun and talked to me just the way Mom does when it was just me and him. Then when someone came in the room, he got real serious. When we went out to ice cream he told Mom and me he was going to snick me some, Mom said he better not. I was a little disappointed that he listened to Mom since it looked so good.
It was really good to see Grandma Pam again, it had been soooo long. She went to a lot of work for Mom and me to come (thanks Grandma Pam). She got new beds for Mom and me and decorated each of our rooms super pretty and laid out presents for both Mom and me (see Mom’s just as spoiled as I am). I got to go to Grandma Pam’s work and meet all of the people she worked with there. They spoiled me pretty good there. Cheyenne even took me to see how big I was. I am currently 21lbs! Wow, only 18month clothes for me (well except for my feet I still wear 0-6month shoes, I’m already like Cinderella, especially with the grueling Tummy Time exercises Mom puts me through).
Then we went to see Grandma Pat, I think my library doubled at that point. Grandma Pat gave me so many books, hopefully this way I’ll be just as smart as Mom and Dad. Thank you Grandma Pat. We also met all sorts of other people and I really enjoyed meeting all of you.
I also wanted to mention the coolest park I have ever seen (you can see it too at www.ftsteilacoomplayground.org). It was HUGE and so much fun, I’ll have to put up pictures as soon as Grandma Pam finds the camera. Shame on Mom, she lost it somewhere in Washington. Hopefully we’ll get it back.
After a whole week in Washington we came home. That was nice too. I got to see Dad, it had been so long. He said how beautiful I was and said I had grown so much.
