Yeah, that is right. The WB is gone. The network that
brought us Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawsons Creek,
Smallville, Felicity, One Tree Hill, 7th Heaven,
Charmed, Gilmore Girls, Angel, Everwood, and so many
other great shows. Yes, I know there is a lot of teen
angst in there, but I was a teen when I these shows
were great. I feel all old now. When I talk about
"The WB" (and I do, more often that I realize) I will
be talking of an extinct creature. My children will
not know what I speak of. UGH.
It seems The WB and UPN are merging into a new network called The CW for CBS (which owns UPN) and Warner Brothers. They should have at least kept one of the names I think. Anything but start from scratch.

Serenity and Firefly

Serenity is out of most first run theatres now and
moving into second runs, and I wanted to tell you
what I thought about it before it was gone and you
lost your chance to see it.
Serenity is a movie based on the television series Firefly from 3 years ago. It was prematurely cancelled even though it had decent ratings, primarily because of its high production cost and because the executives didn't have faith that it would be profitable. Read More...
