I thought the early part of October was scary, but it didn’t even compare with today. First off, Mom got me dressed in my ladybug outfit because she said I was cute as a bug. Then we went to mom’s work, now normally this is ok. But it was so scary, there was this woman with a big mouth and yarn for hair and there was other women with these round things coming out of their heads (Mom said they were halos), and another woman with big circles on her cheeks. Mom laughed at all of them and said they were cute, but I didn’t think so. I cried and hung on tight to Mom. We got to go around Mom’s work and pick up candy, Mom even let me have some (Yummy)!

   Then when we got home I got a surprise. Grandpa Russ came to see me! At first I didn’t recognize him because he was all scruffily on his face. I thought it was a costume like the women at Mommy’s work, but I pulled and it didn’t come off. It was awfully fun to see him again. All of us Mom, Dad, Grandpa Russ and I went to the church for more candy and scary costumes. It was fun, even the haunted house was pretty cool since Mom was carrying me. I think Mom held tighter on to me then I held on to her.
