Welcome to my new weekly weight loss article type thingy. I have struggled with my weight for a long time, going through periods of trying hard and not caring. The army says I am fat and takes too much of my time with the fat body program, so it is time I get my act together and lose the weight! I will give a weight loss update weekly as possible. Welcome to my new weekly weight loss article type thingy. I have struggled with my weight for a long time, going through periods of trying hard and not caring. The army says I am fat and takes too much of my time with the fat body program, so it is time I get my act together and lose the weight!



I have several motivating factors, several goals, and several resolutions pertaining to weight loss. Let us start with the resolutions.



I, Steven Rushing, hereby resolve to:



1. Never eat fast food again.

Fast food is hereby defined as:

a. Burger places (McDonalds, Burger King)

b. Places anyplace that can supersize, king size, large size your meals

c. Anyplace that asks, "Would you like fries with that?"

Fast food is NOT

a. Subway

b. Anyplace where they bring your food to your table

c. Anyplace with cloth napkins, water in a glass, or mints on your way out



2. Go to work without food (this leads to eating hotpockets at work)



3. Never drink empty calorie drinks (hereafter refered to as ECDs)

ECDs are hereby defined as:

a. Koolaids of any type

b. Carbonated beverages of any type

c. Anything marketted to people of "small stature"

d. Chocolate Milk

ECDs are NOT:

a. Ovaltine

b. Gatorade/Powerade/sports drinks

c. Milk



4. Drink more water than I do milk (I drink a lot of milk)




Goals:


1. Short term: GET OFF THE FAT BODY PROGRAM

a. 22% body fat to meet army standards (met this goal twice)

b. Get 2% under army stadards (20%) to get off fat man program


2. Long term: Put all weight issues behind me by getting below 200 lbs
