Final Fantasy Movie and Virtual Actors

I was listening to Glenn Beck the other day when he brought up the Final Fantasy movie.  Some of you may have seen it, it was called Final Fantasy: the Spirits Within.  I really enjoyed it.  It is supposed to have been the first fully cg movie that was not aimed at the kid audience.  Think Toy Story crossed with The Matrix.  Like I said, super awesome, I really enjoyed it. Mirrormask

Let me start off this review by saying Steven and I have been waiting about a year to see this movie. It was produced by The Jim Henson Company and has an awesome trailer (go to www.mirrormask.com to see it). However we had no idea when it came out and we checked back to the site ever month or so to see when it came to theaters. We discovered it came out September 30th and we had it written on the calender because it looked so good.

2nd Seporah Ultrasounds and The Corpse Bride

Märia and I had the opportunity to see The Corpse Bride on Saturday, and let me say that we thoroughly enjoyed it.  It is a stop-action animated movie (similar to claymation, but not as rough), similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas.  Bride borrows a great deal from the earlier movie by Tim Burton.  The world has the same eerieness, and the characters are similarly long and thin.

Luther, Phantom of the Opera and Apple!

Märia bought me an iMac for my birthday! It took me completely by surprise. She and her mother just came in from shopping, and asked me to help them carry in some stuph from the car, and sitting in the trunk was an iMac box. This page is now being made exlusively on the Mac, using Nvu, iPhoto and Homepage. Nvu is an html editor sponsored by Linspire. iPhoto and Homepage are Mac products, part of iLife suite. I am totally enjoying my Mac, you guys need to head down to an apple store and take one for a test drive. They are very nice and very knowledgeable at the apple stores, and you can sit and play on a Mac for as long as you want. Read More...
